Current Research in Egyptology 2020/2021 Virtual Conference
Current Research in Egyptology (CRE) is a postgraduate conference set up to facilitate research and promote bonds between British and international universities worldwide who are conducting research in Egyptology, or any other related field of study.

The CRE 2020/2021 is organized by the Aegean Egyptology Research Group and the Laboratory for the Ancient World of the Eastern Mediterranean under the aegis of the Department of Mediterranean Studies, University of the Aegean from 9 to 16 May 2021!

In the following days, we will have the opportunity to attend very interesting oral and poster presentations by scholars from different Universities, Institutes, Museums, Archaeological Missions, Organizations as well as independent scholars across the world, which makes this conference a truly international meeting in spirit. We will have the chance to attend the results of ongoing research on various topics of Egyptology: politics, society and economy, religion magic and medicine, architecture, art and iconography, human and nature, material culture and interconnections. Invited experts from across the field will share with us their expertise through their vital keynote lectures.
